S. Maria di Provenzano

In Siena, for the Contrada della Giraffa, the façade of the church of Santa Maria di Provenzano was the surface of an architectural mapping created for the Palio. The work was produced by InSynchLab, with Andrea Carpentieri as multimedia designer, original music by Michele Clogiuri and sound design by Cristian Carpentieri.

Thanks go to Marcello Pontalto and Gianni Guerrini for their technical support, and to Raffaele, Duccio and the whole Contrada della Giraffa. The church of Santa Maria di Provenzano, the Collegiata, stands in the territory of the Contrada della Giraffa and houses the image of the Madonna di Provenzano, in whose honour the Palio of 2 July is run. The oratory of the Contrada della Giraffa is in the crypt of the Collegiata.
