Whale hologram

A hologram of a fin whale, created by Andrea Carpentieri with Insynchlab for the Museo del Mare at Torre del Cerrano. The Museo del Mare is housed in the Torre del Cerrano, home of the marine protected area of the same name, and collects natural specimens linked to the ecosystems of that area.

The hologram offers a visual reconstruction of the partially preserved skull of a common fin whale, which can be seen in the second room, dedicated to the deep-sea habitat of the Adriatic. All the rooms have multimedia equipment with images and sound, designed to engage visitors through the senses.
