Brindisi! Appia Vino Mare

On the façade of the Grande Albergo Internazionale in Brindisi, Andrea Carpentieri created a projection mapping for the BRINDISI! APPIA VINO MARE festival. The festival, in its first edition, in 2023, took place in the historic centre, along the seafront and on the waters of Brindisi, with the aim of promoting the city and the ancient Via Appia, which ran from Rome all the way to Brundisium, and of celebrating wine-growing traditions, local culture and the sea.

It was promoted by the Puglia Region, with Pugliapromozione and Teatro Pubblico Pugliese, together with the Comune di Brindisi. The façade of the hotel came alive with the projection mapping in the evening, from 9 pm; on the Lungomare Regina Margherita, for the whole festival, stood the light installation “Caos del mare” by the artist L’Altro Andrea.
